To achieve
our goals, we have a number of important abilities to help us.
These abilities are inside us, and represent “what we can!”
This level
of Agreements defines the abilities we think we all possess, without regard to
our individual skill level or experience.

ithin each of us lie all of the abilities that we truly need to get by in life. Some of these abilities are obvious, others we seem to have forgotten about, because we haven’t used them for so long.

As your confidence grows, you will find yourself relying more and more on your own internal abilities, in order to meet the ever changing list of challenges that you will encounter in your working life.
§ What has been done, we can learn.
§ What we can learn, we can do.
§ What we can do, we can teach.
§ What we can teach, we can reproduce.
§ We can avoid thinking or saying “I can’t”
If it has been done before, it is highly likely that it is possible! |
§ We can change the way we feel about things, by altering the words or labels we use to describe our feelings.
§ We can look back and laugh at ourselves……right now!
§ We can choose to be positive and happy.
§ We can model the experiences of successful people, to compress time and accomplish more during our lives.
§ We can get extraordinary performance from ordinary people (like us!) by organizing our efforts into an integrated team.
§ We can achieve what we focus our attention and efforts on achieving.
§ We can control the focus of our minds, by changing the questions we ask of ourselves.
§ We can look for what we want to see.
§ We can measure the things that are important to us.
§ We can organize our time and our jobs to focus maximal attention on things that will change our outcome.
§ We can “have to” instead of “try to”
§ We can change any of our behaviors if we change what it means to us.
§ We can encourage change in others by giving them an experience that overcomes their limiting beliefs.
§ We can master time, by modeling how successful people use their time.
In time, we can learn to do anything if given small enough steps, proper coaching, and enough time to practice. |
§ We can master our emotions, by learning how to choose how we feel.
§ We master our relationships with others, by changing their experiences.
§ We can master money, by understanding where it comes from and where it goes.
§ We can master our physical bodies, by changing our position and our posture.
§ We can spend 10% of our time identifying and describing a challenge, and 90% of our time finding a solution.
§ We can keep changing until we get what we want.
§ We can say “I’m don’t know, and I’ll find out and handle it for you”.
§ We can say “I need your help”.
§ We can cope with challenges and situations, until we are able to handle them.
