Any
organization of people needs some “rules of the road”.
In the Apollonia Family, we call these rules “Agreements”, because
they represent ideals and promises that we have all agreed to.
Agreements
like these are the grease that keep the Apollonia wheels moving freely,
reducing workplace friction and stress.

elcome to the Apollonia Family! To help you in your career with us, we want to share with you our core values and beliefs, as well as some promises that we each have made to each other.
By learning our guiding principles and rules, you will find that your daily job and career (and possibly even the rest of your life) will improve! So spend some time to get familiar with these Agreements, and never be afraid to question or suggest additions to this list.

After all, these Agreements only have a purpose if we all understand, agree, and can willingly and cheerfully live by them!
To become a full member of our Apollonia Family, we will ask that you make a pledge to abide by these Agreements. The list is organic, and so is always being revised. You will be able to participate in any changes, so you can be assured that you agree with the results. Please help us by making your suggestions known!
As a new “provisional” Apollonia Team Member, you are beginning to learn about your individual place on the Apollonia Team. As time goes by, you will learn more and more about the greater purpose which inspired the creation of the Apollonia Dental Centers, and to better understand how you can make an even bigger and more valuable contribution to our efforts. If you take the time to read and think about these Agreements, they will give you great insight into our culture or “way of thinking”.

The logo of the Apollonia Dental Centers features a friendly and familiar looking female face, of indeterminate age and heritage. A female “mascot” has been chosen because the majority of dental care decisions are made by females (even when the appointment is made for male patients!). The face is a composite of several real and fictional people, the “smile” being that of the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. To add a little whimsy, one of the several models was actually named Apollonia!
In each chapter of this Agreements collection, you will find that there is a series of categories, each representing a deeper level of thinking. At first, you will find yourself concentrating on learning and living the most specific levels, environment and conduct. Your career coaches will help you in your effort to understand and progress in your journey.
In time, as you will find that these levels become automatic, you will find yourself focusing on more personal, internal, and spiritual agreements contained in the deeper levels of Agreement.

· Allow yourself time, to understand and agree. If you aren’t sure, talk to your coaches before going to the next level.
· When you have finished one level, tell your coach!
The most important Agreement we all
have (our “Prime Agreement”) is that we will all coach each other to
better live up to the spirit of these Agreements.
