far more important than “what”. We have
chosen to promote the end of dental disease because it is about time somebody
did.
ach person has only one life to live, and only so many years to make a contribution to the whole of society. Whether by raising children at home, volunteering, or working in the commercial world, each of us wants to make a contribution to the betterment of our community and the world around us. Each of us wants the rewards (money, food, shelter, stuff) that come in return for making a contribution. In the Apollonia Family, we have dedicated ourselves to making our contribution in the area of improving dental health. There certainly is no shortage of people who need our help!
As you spend more time with us, you will see the devastation and suffering that comes from the mismanagement, poor marketing, inconsistent product quality, and inadequate planning so common in the dental profession. You will understand more each day, why we are “on a mission” to improve the development, marketing, and delivery of dental care in our community, our state, and our nation. § 80% of Americans have active gum disease that causes heart disease, stroke, lung infection, pain, swelling, lost teeth, bad breath (yuck!) and other illness. § More than half of all Americans loose all of their teeth to disease. § Most Americans have dental decay, costing billions of dollars to treat. § Virtually all decay is caused by bacteria that can only come from other decay. § Virtually all gum disease is controllable with simple effective treatments. § Americans spend over $60,000,000,000 (that’s BILLION) dollars on dental care each year, and this is what they get! § Don’t look, but we have a long way to go before running out of customers!!!
